The Pfizer Clinical Research Unit in New Haven is seeking healthy volunteers for a clinical trial of a study drug for type 2 diabetes. This study will compare different oral forms of the study drug when taken with or without food.

Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is a chronic disease that occurs when a person’s body does not make or use insulin effectively to regulate blood sugar. Despite the availability of multiple treatments, approximately half of people diagnosed with T2D are not at their blood sugar goal, and more people are diagnosed every day. Pfizer aims to identify and develop breakthrough treatments for people with this disease.
