Current clinical trial participants who are registered in the PCRU database can refer a friend or family member to screen for studies at the PCRU in New Haven, CT. Participants who make a qualified referral as defined below will be eligible to receive up to $300*.
Program details
To qualify for this referral program, referred participants:
- must not have had a screening visit at the PCRU within the last 2 years
must provide the full name of the person who referred them at the time of scheduling the screening appointment or registering in the PCRU database if new
must complete a screening appointment and be eligible to receive the screening payment as described in the study’s informed consent document
Existing clinical trial participants who would like to make a referral must be registered in the PCRU database with a current mailing address and must have previously completed an in-person screening.
New participants looking to make a referral must complete a screening and provide all required identification in order to process payment.
If you are interested in screening together, we cannot guarantee appointment availability for the same time/day so please be sure to ask about scheduling for you and your referral during your initial contact.
*Bonus amount is per referral and is determined by the study the referred participant screens for. Bonus payments will be paid in US dollars and may be considered taxable income. Compensation may be provided on a loadable debit card or by paper check within 2 weeks of their referral’s qualifying screening visit. The New Haven PCRU reserves the right to determine method of payment. Eligibility for this program will be determined by the New Haven PCRU, and the New Haven PCRU reserves the right to change the terms or terminate this program at any time.
