The Pfizer New Haven Clinical Research Unit is conducting a clinical trial of a study drug for certain types of cancer and solid tumors. This study will look at the amount of the study drug in the body after a single oral dose when given as different formulations, at different dosages, and with or without food.
The study drug is being evaluated for the treatment of specific cancers and solid tumors, including breast and prostate cancer.
Millions of people are diagnosed with these cancers every year. Affected patients are in need of effective and safe treatments, and healthy volunteers are an important part of developing these medicines.

Who may participate
Clinical trials are key to developing potential life-changing treatments for people across the globe. But they can't happen without participants.
This study is seeking healthy adult volunteers, meaning that the participants will not have the condition being studied and are in overall good health. In addition to the criteria listed, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Willing to take a study drug
- Willing and able to come to our facility in New Haven, CT*
- Able to comply with all study procedures

Each clinical study has its own guidelines for who can participate, called eligibility criteria. However, only the research study staff can determine if you qualify to enroll in the study.
What to expect
If this study may be a fit for you, you’ll be invited to a screening visit at our facility in New Haven, CT. If you qualify for the study, there may be a period of up to 28 days before dosing.
If you choose to participate, you will stay at our facility for 4 overnights. The morning after admission, you will receive a single oral dose of the study drug with or without food and remain on site for monitoring and assessments until the 4th morning.
Throughout the study, staff will closely monitor your health status and collect data, such as how you feel and the levels of the study drug in your blood.
*Some participants may be required to return for a follow-up visit and will receive an additional $150
