Who may participate
By volunteering in clinical research, you can make a difference. Thank you for exploring whether participation in this study may interest you.
This study is seeking healthy male or female volunteers, meaning that the participants will not have the condition being studied. In addition to the criteria listed, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Willing to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test and receive a negative result upon arrival to the PCRU
- Willing to take a study drug
- Able to meet all study visit requirements
There are other requirements for participation in this study. The study staff will explain these to you during the screening process.
Do you know someone who may meet these requirements? Refer a friend and you may be eligible to receive a bonus.
Each clinical study has its own guidelines for who can participate, called eligibility criteria. However, only the research study staff can determine if you qualify to enroll in the study.
What to expect
If this study may be a fit for you, you’ll be invited to a screening visit at our facility in New Haven, CT.
If you qualify and choose to participate, you may receive up to 4 doses of either the study drug or placebo (contains no active medicine) at least 5 days apart. These will be given orally as a liquid or tablet, either alone or combined with another drug to increase the effect of the study drug. You will stay at the PCRU until 4 days after the last dose.
During your participation, there may be different procedures to assess safety and how the study drug is absorbed. These will be clearly explained to you during screening. Throughout the study, staff will closely monitor your health status and collect data, such as the levels of the study drug in your blood.
1 follow-up call, about 4 weeks after the last dose
