How to participate in a clinical trial?

In order to simplify and fasten your recruitment process, we highly encourage you to use the PCRU Chatbot Charlie, at the bottom right of the screen.

To join our pool of participants and take part in the Brussels Pfizer Clinical Research Unit (the PCRU) clinical trials, you must fill in an initial medical questionnaire.

If you are interested, you must be at least 18 years old and you must be healthy.

Personal data means any information relating to you as a natural person such as for example your name, your date of birth, your telephone number or information relating to your health or your medical condition.

The personal data you share with us when completing the registration form is collected by the Brussels PCRU in order to send you the relevant literature and the medical questionnaire. It will be processed in a strictly confidential manner and in conformity with all applicable legislations, especially the European and Belgian laws applicable to clinical trials, and the European and Belgian laws applicable to personal data protection.

Personal data protection is very important to our clinical research unit. That’s why we ask that you read our Privacy Notice available at https://privacycenter.pfizer.com/en/belgium.

We would like to draw to your attention, that by completing the medical questionnaire, you will voluntarily share with us personal data that is related to your health. These personal data will only be processed to offer you the possibility to take part in our future clinical studies. Personal data that was already collected and which may be collected through a potential future contact with you (by phone or on our site), will be recorded and stored in our database of potential participants. These personal data will be processed in order to invite you, after a screening process, to take part in clinical trials carried out in our research unit. It will also be used in conjunction with your possible participation in one of our studies or other activities related to our clinical research unit. These personal data will be processed according to the informed consent document that you will be provided for each specific study that you will be enrolled in.
